My body shape is similar to the shape of a "凹". The ancient trees in the courtyard have accompanied me for many years. Like other houses built in the 20th century around Dong Shan, I have red brick walls and carved railing
My identity has been changing. I was the office of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, the Third District Highway Engineering Administration of the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation of the National Government ... Of course, I was also a residential building for years.
My last block is widely welcomed and praised as a community library. Many people also find that I have a strong historical background after entering my exhibition on the second floor. I'm honoured to be liked by people！
Nowadays, people like to use October 21, 1928, as my birthday, because the Institute of History and Philology of the Academia Sinica, an important starting point for Chinese archaeology, was established here. In fact, the "Institute of History and Philology" rented the smaller East Building of Baiyuan at that time, but now the West Building is open to the public as a place to commemorate the Institute of History and Philology. The East Building is rented by Guangdong Lingnan Ancient Books Publishing House.
